10-Year-Old Saves Mother’s Life After Car Crash
10-year-old Bradley Mitchell was in a serious car crash that caused his mom to be ejected from the car.
Without hesitating, the fourth-grader helped his brother and sister out of the car, then ran to his unconscious mother to perform CPR.
“I went over and gave her a few breaths,” Bradley recounted. “It just came naturally. I’ve seen it on TV a couple times.”
Bradley’s mom Amanda suffered serious injuries, including broken bones and internal bleeding. Fortunately, she survived thanks to Bradley.
“He means everything to me,” Amanda gushed. “Without him I wouldn’t be here, and I’ll never forget that.”
Bradley was recently named an honorary firefighter, as a reward for his heroic act.
