11 Year Old Benched For Scoring Too Many Touchdowns
While High School and College Football scouts are drooling over 11-year-old Demias Jimerson, the league is benching the little football star for being too good.
The Wilson League invoked the Madre Hill Rule, a rule that limits anyone from scoring touchdowns when his team is up by 14 and he has already scored 3 touchdowns.
Reminiscent of Razorback’s great Madre Hill, Jimerson has lead his team to an undefeated winning streak. In one game, he scored seven touchdowns!
Darryl Baker who coached Madre Hill and now referees Jimerson’s games compares the two young stars, “If you were looking at them you would say they were very much similar, I mean they both run really fast, good kids, run with the same style.”
