12-Year-Old Boy Enters Burning Home Multiple Times to Save Family
12-year-old Justin Allen saved the lives of his three brothers and 3-year-old sister on Sunday when he rescued each of them from their burning Florida home.
Justin Allen was the oldest person in their home when the fire erupted at 2am last Sunday. His mother, Tiffanie Jackson, was on a night shift at a nearby nursing home while his stepfather, Dwayne Jackson was working in Missouri.
As soon as Justin saw the blaze, he went into the burning home three times to rescue his brothers Diego, Emilio, and William, as well as his youngest sister Brooklyn who was trapped in her bedroom.
“He ran back in not once, not twice, but three times to save his siblings,” Justin’s aunt, Lacrishia Jackson recounted. “He said, ‘I wasn’t even scared of the fire. I was just worried about my family.’ He’s our little hero.”
It wasn’t an easy rescue as his sister was trapped in her bedroom. “He kicked the door down and broke it in half and got his sister – covered her face and everything, bless his heart,” Jackson also added.
By the time the fire department arrived, Justin had rescued all of his siblings, as well as 2 of the 4 family dogs.
The cause of the fire is still unknown although they are suspecting that lightning may have caused the blaze.
