12-year-old Meghan Laplante decided to become an entrepreneur over the summer. While all of her friends are relaxing during the break, this girl is starting her own lobster company. Selling a lobster for $4.99 a pound, the little girl is making approximately $300 a week, a budding business in pre-teen terms.

Unfortunately for Meghan, she doesn’t get to keep the money yet. “This year I don’t get to keep the money cause I need to pay dad back for the gas and lobster traps,” she explained. “But next year it’ll go away in a college fund.”
