6 year old Lucy Mangum was boogie boarding off the coast of North Carolina’s Ocracoke Island when she saw a shark  and started screaming. She told her parents that she felt that the shark bit her leg and asked that they pray for her leg.

Lucy said little during the interview but her parents, Jordan and Craig Mangum, recounted the horrific incident that left their daughter’s leg flayed open. Luckily, Craig who is a physician, predicted that his daughter would be running and dancing soon enough.

And what does Lucy want to do when her leg heals? This little girl wants to go back to the beach! So brave!
