Alex is a 9 year-old boy, just like any other. He doesn’t want your hand-me-downs, loves action movies, and lives in Tanzania.

When the Mama Hope staff visited his school, Alex heard they were from California. He excitedly started talking to them about the California Governor and one of his favorite movies, the Schwarzenegger 1985 cult classic, “Commando”.

Mama Hope tells a message that while we are continents apart, kids share the “same essential qualities we love: imagination, creativity, and hilarity.”
