ER and Dexter star April Hernandez-Castillo and her husband producer Jose Castillo are expecting their first baby together.

“We are excited to announce we are expecting our first child,” she tells PEOPLE. “It’s such a blessing and we can’t wait to welcome our new addition to the family.”

The mom-to-be recently graced the small screen in a guest star role on Person of Interest.
