Update: The proud dad Ben Affleck wrote on his Facebook page, “We are happy to announce on February 27, Jennifer gave birth to a healthy baby boy, Samuel Garner Affleck.”

It’s a boy!

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck welcomed a son in Santa Monica on February 28 (just missed leap year day!).

In a previous interview with Jay Leno, Jennifer was asked if Ben was excited to have another man in the house. “I would have thought so.” Garner added,  “And then he kind of said, ‘Well, we have girls. We know how to do girls. My girls love me. I’m the big guy in the house.’ So, now I’m not sure.”

Well, we are pretty sure they are thrilled.

This will be the third baby and first boy for the couple, as the baby joins adorable big sisters Violet and Seraphina. Congratulations!!!
