After a long hiatus for FOX show Bones, we finally get the inside scoop at last night’s PaleyFest.

The fan-filled event started off with a screening of the much-awaited come-back episode (airing on April 2) and without spoiling too much of the story, we can say that it ends with the arrival of Baby Bones!

“The birth episode was very strange for me because my birth experience was so different from Brennan’s,” Emily Deschanel tells EW on the recent birth of her baby boy. “My birth experience was much more calm. … I really didn’t experience much pain at all, and Brennan is the opposite.”

As soon as Dechanel told the producers about her pregnancy, they had a brief moment of anxiety, followed by clarity. “We had anxiety before we decided that Brennan would have Booth’s baby,” executive producer Hart Hanson recalled. “The minute we knew Brennan was going to have Booth’s baby, we knew what to do.”

So how will the new baby affect Bones?  Executive producer Stephen Nathan explains, “This baby informs their lives in a completely different way and they have to deal with the issues of having a new baby.” He also adds the caveat, “It’s still Bones. We don’t want to give the impression that we’re doing Parenthood.”

And will Emily put her real-life mom experiences to the screen? Emily revealed that her on-screen baby peed on her during the delivery scene, which oddly coincided with real life son (Henry) peeing on her earlier that same day. “Two babies peed on me on the same day!” she exclaimed.
