Brandon Routh and Courtney Ford are expecting their first baby together!

“It’s been so hard keeping the news to ourselves,” Routh tells People Magazine.

The excited dad also adds, “Everyone on set keeps asking, ‘Do you have kids?’ and I’ve had to say, ‘Well … not yet!’ It’s the truth. The baby hasn’t been born yet!”

Ford was also having an equally difficult time on set. “It started getting difficult to hide what was happening,” the actress, who is starring in Parenthood revealed. “Flu and food poisoning excuses only work for so long, and by the last episode I could no longer button my pants! I just tried to joke that I had a big lunch!”

The couple met in 2003, when Routh was bartending in Lucky Strike, the same place where Ford was having her brother’s rehearsal dinner. They then got married in November of 2007. This is their first child together.
