Bullied Teen Jumps in Front of Train
A bullied teen committed suicide by jumping in front of a train in New York City.
Felicia Garcia, 15, was repeatedly bullied by her classmates at Tottenville High School. “Kids are saying she had sex with some guys from the football team at a party after the game,” Garcia’s friend explained. “Later on they wouldn’t leave her alone about it. They just kept bullying her and bullying her.”
Garcia had previously reported the bullying to a school official, who arranged some mediation sessions. Unfortunately, it didn’t seem to help, as the taunts continued for the teen.
Overwhelmed by everything, Garcia killed herself in front of everyone at the Staten Island train station.
“I can’t, I’m done, I give up,” she tweeted before she committed suicide.
One of her classmates Sara Brager, 16 was next to Garcia before she fell to her death.
“Just before she fell, she said, ‘Finally, it’s here,’” Brager recalled. “It was the most horrible thing I’ve ever seen.”
Garcia had a tough childhood. Her parents died when she was younger, and she later moved around in the foster care system. With the latest bullying incident, Garcia had finally snapped.
The teens allegedly involved in the bullying are being questioned by authorities.
