If you thought celebrity weddings were extravagant, here’s the wedding that takes the cake!

A wedding between two dogs just broke the Guinness World Record for The Most Expensive Dog Wedding ever. The cost? A whooping $250,000!

Wendy Diamond hosted the wedding at the Jumeirah Essex House for her newly adopted pooch Baby Hope Diamond and her groom, poodle Chilly Pasternak.

If her name sounds familiar, Wendy was originally planning the wedding for Lucky Diamond, a Maltese with terminal cancer who received one of the most amazing bridal showers in dog history. Unfortunately, Lucky lost her battle with cancer, and Baby Hope took the place of the bride.

The lengthy ceremony was preceeded by a memorial video in honor of  Lucky Diamond, and the actual ceremony was “officiated” by Triumph, the Insult Comic Dog from the Conan show.

While some people cringed at the exorbitant price tag, all gifts were donated to the Humane Society of New York.

So where is the newly married couple now? Wendy announced that the dogs are happily honeymooning in the Hamptons.
