Christian Bale Becomes Superhero for 4-Year-Old Boy with Leukemia
Last week, Christian Bale decided to show that he was a superhero with or without the batmobile.
While 4-year-old Jayden Barber from Youngstown, Ohio was battling leukemia, the little boy wanted nothing more than to go to Disneyland. And so Christian Bale decided to step in and send Jayden and his entire family to the happiest place on earth in Southern California. If that wasn’t enough, this superhero decided to make an appearance and join the family for lunch.
“Finally can share!!!” Jayden’s mom, Charlene Barber announced on her Facebook page. “Christian sent us to LA and we had lunch at Disney club 33 on wed!! He and his family were so awesome and down to earth!!! They talked movies and super Heroes and he was genuinely happy to hear about everything Jayden wanted to tell him.”
Apparently, Bale also brought in his entire family to the gettogether as well. “Christian, his wife and daughter are three of the most beautiful people we have ever met!” Barber added.
Jayden was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma cancer in 2010. He was thought to be in remission, but was later diagnosed with a rarer form of cancer called MDS leukemia caused by the radiation he had received. As of last week, WYTV reported that Jayden is again in remission.
