28-year-old Adam Maguire has been arrested after allegedly burning his two sons with cigarettes to teach them how to focus and meditate.

Maguire has been charged with two counts of domestic violence, as well as two counts of endangering a minor’s welfare after burning his two kids “in an attempt to show them pain compliance while meditating.”

Maguire’s girlfriend recalled that Maguire was using the painful method to cure the children from ADHD. She also added that “the children were told that when you clear your mind your pain diminishes.”

The two boys are currently with relatives.
