There has been a flood of tough parenting in the news these days, from the Facebook-hacking mom to the Gun-toting dad.

While less extreme but just as embarrassing, Quandria Bryant’s father, Donell wanted to teach his daughter a lesson after she was suspended from her high school. On a busy Florida highway, Quandria is seen holding a two-sided sign that says, “I have a bad attitude. I disrespect people who try to help me.”

“She thinks it’s all about her,” Donell explained. “It’s not.”

Was it truly effective? The teen has told local reporters that she will stay away from trouble.
