Mike Eli, lead singer of the Eli Young Band, and his wife Kacey are expecting a baby girl together!

“[Kacey] and her mom got me a couple books that I am reading, and it can be a little overwhelming,” Eli tells People Magazine. “I recommend reading them for the basics and what to expect during pregnancy, but they can’t teach you to be a good dad and a good partner. That’s up to me to figure out.”

With the call of fatherhood, the singer talks about the urge to settle down in a single place, “Now that Kacey’s pregnant, it’s even stronger, and I can only imagine what it will be like once the baby is born. It will be extremely hard to leave them.”

The band has a tight schedule this year, but they’ve made sure to take time off for the baby girl’s due date on August.
