14-year-old Marcos Ugarte gets some hero status during a guest appearance on the Ellen show.

The teen made headlines after saving his 7-year-old neighbor from a burning home.  “We climbed down the ladder together,” Ugarte recounts the story to Ellen. “And he was secure.”

Before the end of the show, DeGeneres surprised the teen with a few rewards of her own. Check out the video below!
