‘Facebooking’ Between Students and Teachers is Now Illegal in Missouri
In the newly signed law in the state of Missouri, teachers are now banned from creating their own blogs or befriending their students on any social networking site on the web.
If you don’t believe it, read the newly signed Missouri State Bill 54:
“Teachers cannot establish, maintain, or use a work-related website unless it is available to school administrators and the child’s legal custodian, physical custodian, or legal guardian. Teachers also cannot have a non work-related website that allows exclusive access with a current or former student.”
Since teachers are SO well-paid, I guess internet restrictions can easily be overlooked. Thoughts?
