A 30-year-old father attempted to sacrifice his 8-year-old son at Mount Hope Cemetery in San Diego California. The dad claims that the spirit of his dead grandmother instructed him to sacrifice his own child.

Lucky for the boy, his mother was able to flag down two passersby for help, as the dad started using cut glass to slash open his son’s arm.

Two women, Corey Granberry and Jaymisha Pires saw what was happening and separated the scared child from the deranged father.

“All I see is a man wrapped up with three kids and blood,” Granberry recalled. She also heard Ramirez shout, “We’re going to Jesus, we’re going to Jesus!” before finally running away.

Ramirez was caught and taken to a hospital. He will be charged with child abuse and assault. The boy was rushed to the hospital for his injuries.
