Former NBA Player Dennis Rodman Writes Children’s Book

August 5, 2012 - By Anthony Konrad

After reuniting with his father after 42 years, former NBA champ Dennis Rodman has now announced that he will be releasing a children’s book in September.

Rodman, who is trying to re-work his public image, wrote “Dennis the Wild Bull” as a dedication to his kids. The book which appears to be an homage to his days in the Chicago Bulls is now available for pre-order for $30.

According to the website, the book was written with “the sole purpose of conveying good lessons to children based on Dennis’s own experiences as a world class athlete while overcoming obstacles as a child.”

“It’s just really about the character, more about being comfortable in your own skin and that it’s okay to be different,” explained Darren Prince, Rodman’s agent. He also adds that this is Rodman’s “own way of reaching out to his own children after everything that’s happened.”

Rodman recently went through a very public divorce and custody battle with now ex-wife Michelle Rodman. The two share a 10-year-old son and an 11-year-old daughter.
