Happy World Wish Day!

This day on 1980, the Make-a-Wish Foundation was born through Chris Greicius, a 7-year-old boy with leukemia who fulfilled his dream to be a police officer.  Chris’ wish was the inspiration for Make-A-Wish, which has since granted wishes to thousands of children who bravely face life-threatening illnesses.

Today, April 29 is World Wish Day, a global celebration of wish granting on the anniversary of Chris’ wish. In honor of our readers, we will make a donation to the organization.
