Harry Potter Star Jailed for Two Years
Harry Potter actor Jamie Waylett has been sentenced to two years in jail for being part of the violent riots in London last summer.
The actor was found guilty of violent and disorderly conduct when he was caught on camera during the third day of last summer’s riots in north London. Waylett has admittedly been in possession of stolen goods, as he grabbed a bottle of champagne from a looted Sainsbury store. He has been cleared of charges of destroying property with a petrol bomb.
Waylett, who stars Vincent Crabbe in six Harry Potter movies admitted that he had been ‘caught up in the hype and euphoria of it all.’
