After the horrible tragedy that struck Newtown a few weeks ago, family and friends are left behind to pick up the pieces.

Out of the 20 children whose lives were taken that day, the profile of 6-year-old Jack Pinto emerged. In a heartbreaking letter tweeted by USA Today reporter Yamiche Alcindor, Jack’s best friend John wrote him a letter following the tragic shooting.

Jack,
You are my best friend.
We had fun together.
I will miss you.
I will talk to you in my prayers.
I love you Jack.

Jack, who was a big fan of the NY Giants and its wide receiver Victor Cruz was remembered by Cruz and the team, dedicating Giant’s Sunday’s game to the boy.
