Hero Boy Saves Dad from Bee Sting; Gives Hilarious Interview

September 6, 2012 - By Anna Karina

10-year-old A.J. Hieber saved his dad’s life after he got an intense allergic reaction to a bee sting.

The boy was playing video games in his room when he noticed that something was wrong. He ran to the bathroom and saw his dad struggling to breathe. A.J. quickly grabbed his bike and rushed to his mom who was at a nearby lake.

“I race down in my bike and I’m in my underwear mind you. I race down to tell my mom that my dad has been stung by bees,” A.J. recounted.

Luckily, with the boy’s quick-thinking, his mom rushed back just in time to save the day and give his dad a few epi shots.

“I do owe my life to him,” said the relieved dad, Adam Hieber.

As for our underwear-clad hero? “Yeah I was really proud of that,” said A.J. “I saved a life…well, technically me and my bike did so thank you Diamond Back.”

Check out the coverage and even more hilarious Jimmy Kimmel interview below. This is one of my favorites, after the Zombie Boy who likes turtles.
