Disney/Pixar’s movie, UP has been an inspiration to everyone. We now know that real-life flying houses are possible, but how about an exact replica of Carl and Ellie’s house?

Blair Bangerter (from Bangerter Homes) was watching the movie “UP” when he decided to build a true to life version of  Carl’s flying house. After over a year of sketch designs and location scouting, they were finally ready to make this dream into a reality. And the stage for all of this? The annual Salt Lake Parade of Homes!

Since the launch of the house, people from all over the world have been asking about it. “A gal came through [to see the house], her sister called from England and said, ‘have you gone and seen that ‘UP’ house?’ and she had no idea, and she is [lives] right here in Utah,” Bangerter recounted to the Salt Lake Tribune.

If you will be in that neck of the woods, the house is located on 13215 S. 5390 West in Herriman and will be on display until August 14. The house captures all of the details in the movie, except that it will have to stay on the ground for everyone to see. Enjoy!
