[UPDATE] Muse frontman Bellamy just announced the baby’s name on Twitter today.

“So happy! Just had a baby boy, Bingham ‘Bing’ Hawn Bellamy. Born 7lb 12oz, on 9th July. Mum and baby are strong and healthy. Mum was a warrior, Bing popped out after 4.5 hours of intense pushing!”

A few hours after the announcement, the internet went abuzz with the baby name news. Proud dad Bellamy defended the name choice and tweeted another explanation, “For those wondering, Bingham is my mum’s maiden name. Bing Russell was also Kurt [Russell's] dad. Family connections all round!”

Congratulations are in order for Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy!

Hudson’s rep confirmed to US Weekly that the couple welcomed a baby boy yesterday in Los Angeles. This is the first baby for Bellamy and Kate’s second (she has Ryder with her ex Chris Robinson).

Kate and family will be moving back to the UK once things settle down, since Muse frontman Bellamy will be recording his next album.

We can’t wait for more pictures of the little guy!
