After months of speculation over peanuts, In Touch reports that Prince William and Kate Middleton are expecting their first child together.

“Since before they even got married, it’s been made clear to William and Kate that having children should be their number-one priority,” a royal source says. The pressure has come from even Queen Elizabeth II herself!

So what are they doing to get ready? The chatty source mentions that they are preparing three nurseries for the next royal prince/princess, in their three homes, Nottingham College, Wales, and Kensington Palace.

They’ve also started thinking of baby names, leaning towards traditional English names. “Edward, Philip and Michael are likely choices for a boy, or Alice or Rose for a girl,” the source adds.

So are they hoping for a boy or a girl? Apparently, William is leaning towards a baby girl. “He’s very much his mother’s son, and he also knows that his father, Prince Charles, would like a granddaughter.”
