In a recent trip to the Philippines, I stopped by the mall for some retail therapy when lo and behold…I see Katie Holmes  modeling for Kamiseta, a top local brand. This down-to-earth girl certainly has charmed us all..worldwide!

In an interview with InStyle magazine, this actor/designer/mom tells us about life as Katie Holmes.

First off, she denies pregnancy rumors and confirms that she is not planning to have kids anytime soon. “I don’t feel pressure to do that. We already have a very big family: a full household with cousins who are over a lot, and she has her friends. My biggest thing is making sure she’s fully taken care of and doing well.”

So how does her fashionista daughter feel about this? Little Suri is apparently busy being the star of the household.  “I think she’s going to do a lot of different things. She’s an amazing athlete, singer, and dancer, and I think she’ll probably be an actress.”

In fact, the little girl makes her own choices, especially when it comes to clothes. It’s something that people often criticize Kate for, but bottomline, she’s a mom first before a public icon. “I have to be a good parent in my own heart first. I’m not going to choose making people happy over doing the right thing for my child.”

Other than being super mom, Kate is also an amazing wife…and we think Tom Cruise agrees wholeheartedly. “Two years ago he took me up on his P-51 Mustang, a fighter plane from World War II. He painted the words, ‘Kiss Me, Kate’ on the side… It feels like you’re on a bike in the sky. I thought, I’m either going to spend this whole flight totally freaked out or realize this is pretty thrilling.”

So how does this power family do it? “In our family we have a policy: we make it work. We Skype, and we try not to go for a week without seeing each other. We’re also very good at setting up camp wherever we go.”
