With the recent birth of daughter Penelope Scotland Disick, parents Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick (or is it Lord Scott Disick now?) are now in the midst of battling grandmother Kris Jenner‘s moneymaking schemes.

The three are reportedly feuding after Jenner set up several deals involving Penelope, one of which is the release of her first photos.

“Kris immediately started trying to make money off the baby, literally from the moment she was conceived!” A source tells Radar Online, “Kourtney was already getting annoyed during her pregnancy because her mom talked nonstop about branding girly things for the baby. And since the birth Kris has stepped it up with her money making ideas. Even Scott stepped in and told Kris to back off, he actually told her they needed time to enjoy their baby before they share her with the world. But Kris was relentless and started taking photos with the intent to sell them, and the whole family knew it.”

Interesting enough, the source also revealed that Jenner actually wanted to take and sell exclusive photos of the entire birthing process, until Scott objected.

“Both Kourtney and Scott have told Kris to step away, their baby is not some money making tool,” the source added. “They have a deal in place with a magazine to run the first photos of Penelope, but after that they want a little privacy for her.”

Since Kourtney shared Mason’s birth on the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ show, we are just waiting for footage of Penelope’s birth (season finale maybe?)

With the precarious (or maybe, curiously stable to some) foothold of the Kardashian empire, it’s not too much a surprise that they’ll try to take advantage of any new member to the family.
