Lion Tries to Eat Zebra-Striped Baby

May 4, 2012 - By Anna Karina

A lioness at the Oregon Zoo found 1-year-old Jack quite appetizing. With his zebra-like jacket, the little tot was lucky that there was a thick window separating him and the pouncing lion.

“It was Jack’s first trip to the zoo.” His mom Heather Baltzor recounted, “We didn’t even realize he looked like a zebra until we got home but a lot of the animals in the zoo — the crocodiles and the jaguars — apparently did. They would come up to the glass and look at him.”

“We were not worried. We thought it was hilarious,” she added.

Watch the video below of Jack’s close encounters.
