Meet Anastasiya Shpagina, the Real-Life Anime

October 1, 2012 - By Hyacinth Therese

If you remember Youtube’s real-life doll, this is perhaps even a bit more out there.

19-year-old Anastasiya Shpagina is a huge online sensation after transforming herself to a real-life anime character. The Ukranian teen herself is a huge anime fan and decided to dub herself into a character she has named Fukkacumi.

The teen spends over an hour each day on her eye makeup to make sure she stays in character. She also slimmed down to under 90 pounds, so she resembles the svelte anime characters we see on TV. In fact, the teen is reportedly considering plastic surgery to make her eyes even more “anime-like.”

While a few of us find it a bit creepy, it appears that her fans disagree, as her Facebook page has over 12,000 likes while her “Flower Fairy” makeup video has over half a million views on Youtube.

And if you ever heard the saying ‘You are the friends that you keep’, Shpagina is actually friends with Valeria Lukyanova, the real-life human barbie, as seen in the photo above from Daily Mail.

Check out her most popular video below.
