Melanie Brown (aka Mel B) and husband Stephen Belafonte just welcomed a baby girl!

Brown tweeted the happy news to her fans, “Finally our baby arrives. Stephen nearly passed out, Phoenix screamed, I laughed so hard the baby popped out!!! She is just sooo amazing!!”

Brown’s rep also confirms the news with People magazine.”This evening Melanie Brown and husband Stephen Belafonte welcomed their new baby girl in Los Angeles. This is the first child for Mel and Stephen and both mum and baby are happy, healthy and doing well.”

This is the first baby for the couple but the third little girl for Brown as she has daughters Phoenix and Angel from a previous relationship.

Congratulations to the beautiful family….AND to the growing Spice Girl family! (Baby joins Emma Bunton’s Tate and Victoria Beckham’s Harper who were all born this year!)
