Nick and Vanessa Lachey just welcomed a baby boy.

Baby Camden John Lachey arrived on September 12 at 6:54pm, weighing in at 8 lbs, 9 oz.

“We are incredibly proud to announce the birth of our beautiful baby boy, Camden John Lachey,” the couple tells People Magazine. “Love has truly been redefined for both of us.”

The couple has always wanted a big family, something that they’ve been looking forward to since getting married last July 2011. “For someone who has wanted a family for such a long time, I’ve looked forward to this moment,” the mom told People a few weeks ago. “Now that it’s almost here, it’s awesome.”

Baby Camden comes a few months after Nick Lachey’s ex Jessica Simpson welcomed her own bundle of joy, Maxwell Drew who arrived last May.

This is the first baby for the couple. Congratulations!
