Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo just had a beautiful island wedding a few weeks ago and now, they are already talking about babies!

While there’s nothing in the news yet, Nick says he’s trying his best! “I’m doing everything I can,” Lachey tells E!’s Marc Malkin. “Trust me, it would make me happy. Family is very important. It’s very important to us. I’m sure that will be around the corner.”

Vanessa Minnillo seems equally eager to start a family. She tweeted a few weeks ago, “Host by day, Wifey by night, Wanna-be Mommy all the time.”

While the two are excited to be parents, they are enjoying married life. ”It’s great. Obviously we’re still in the honeymoon period. Not much changed, which, for me, is a good thing. We’ve been together five years. We were very comfortable in our relationship before the marriage.”
