Noah Wyle’s Son Approves of Actor’s Arrest
In a protest in D.C last month, Noah Wyle was arrested, along with other ADAPT members who were fighting against proposed Medicaid cuts.
“I did talk to my son after I got released early the next morning,” Wyle recounted. “I called him before school, and I explained what happened and that I was okay.”
“I thought I was going on a little bit too long and I may have lost him,” he also adds, “But as soon as I stopped talking, he just jumped in and said, ‘I think you did the right thing, Dad.’”
“It brought tears to my eyes then, and it does now thinking about it. It was great.”
Prior to the protest, the actor warned his family that he may get into a bit of trouble with the law.
Surprising enough, Wyle, who starred in ER was not the first cast member to get arrested this year. Last March, former ER star George Clooney was also arrested in a protest outside the Sudan embassy.
