A 10-year-old boy just wanted to go to Olive Garden to get his favorite berry smoothie. Instead, he was unknowingly given a berry rum cocktail.

The boy’s mother had ordered him a Wildberry Frullato, a smoothie drink from the kid’s menu. Unfortunately, when the server brought their drinks in, she gave the boy a 4 ounce rum drink (despite the fact that no one ordered any smoothie or alcohol on their table).

The boy was already halfway through his delicious beverage before the waitress realized her mistake. Management alerted the family and they quickly rushed him to the hospital. The family mentioned that the boy wasn’t acting normal and an officer was quoted saying that the boy was “shaken but alert.”

This is not a first-time offense for Oliver Garden, as they’ve previously served alcohol to two kids over the past year. Just last year, they accidentally put sangria instead of orange juice in a baby’s sippy cup.
