Thomas Beatie, dubbed as the ‘Pregnant Man’ has now separated from his wife of nine years.

Beatie reached headlines as the world’s first known legal man to give birth. He was born female, but underwent multiple female-to-male gender reassignment surgeries, giving up everything but his female reproductive organs.

“Like all marriages, we have our ups and downs, and we’re going through a rough patch right now. At the moment, we’re separated,” Beatie revealed during a taping of the TV Show “The Doctors”.

Beatie also added that he had completed his final gender reassignment surgery. “Nancy hasn’t seen the new me yet,” he said.

Beatie has given birth to three children. Nancy herself has had two children from a previous marriage.
