Schools Ban Flamin’ Hot Cheetos
Schools across the country have begun banning Flamin’ Hot Cheetos from their campuses.
The ban is based on the snack’s poor nutritional value, addictive quality, and just because it’s plain messy.
“We don’t allow candy, and we don’t allow Hot Cheetos,” Rita Exposito, a principal in the Pasadena school district said.
A health teacher from Lyndon Johnson Middle School in New Mexico wrote a letter to the parents, outlining the reasons for not allowing students to bring the trendy snack to school. Other than nutritional reasons, she also cites that school janitors are having a hard time cleaning up Cheetos dyed fingerprints across the school.
