You can’t say you didn’t see this happening.

Jordan Powers, a teen from California who made headlines after moving in with 41-year-old teacher/boyfriend James Hooker has finally called it quits after Hooker was arrested on sexual assault charges.

Tammie Powers, Jordan’s mom accused the teacher of having a relationship with a minor. While those claims are still under investigation, James Hooker was instead arrested last Friday when police discovered his sexual relationship with another 17-year-old student in 1998. He has been charged with one count of oral copulation with a minor.

“He called me from jail and yes, I told him that we’re done,” Jordan Powers tells ABC. “I lost everything for this guy. I lost my senior year. I gave up all my friends at high school because they didn’t agree with me.”

“He told me that he met her online and he hung out with her just as friends and then he went to her house and she came out of the bathroom naked and he only touched her boobs and her legs,” Powers added. “He was freaked out so he left and went home. He said nothing else happened, but all of that was a lie.”

Powers believed that the woman came forward to prevent her from making a big mistake. “My heart dropped. I felt betrayed. I just have a gut feeling there are other girls.”
