With the the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010, some schools have been mandated to limit student’s caloric intake to 750-850 calories over lunch.

In protest, high school students from Wallace County High School in Sharon Springs, KS created a parody of “We Are Young” to sing a song about “We Are Hungry”.

With the rising obesity epidemic, the intent behind the policy is valid. However, the youth voice out their opinion on the matter.  Check out the video below.
