Mom of Girl with Facial Deformity: “Make Her Normal”

Supermodel Demands $ 46,000 a Month in Child Support

May 3, 2012 - By Susan Lim

So how much does it cost to raise a mini-supermodel?

Apparently, according to Linda Evangelista, $46,000/month just about sums it up. The supermodel mom is taking her son’s father to court. To make things a bit more interesting, that man just happens to be Salma Hayek’s billionaire husband, Francois-Henri Pinault.

Evangelista is asking for the jawdropping amount since she claims she needs money for: $175,000 a year for bodyguards and a driver and $90,000 to pay three separate nannies working eight-hour shifts.

So why round-the-clock care? “When I work, it can be a 16-hour day. On days when I do not work, I am working on my image. I have to hit the gym. I have beauty appointments. I have to work toward my next job and maintaining my image, just like an athlete,” Evangelista tells the judge.

Evangelista dated Pinault for 4 months in 2005 and got pregnant with Augustin, now 5. Since then, Pinault started married Hayek and the couple have their own daughter, 4-year-old Valentina.

While Evangelista has publicly blamed Pinault for being an absent father to Austin, Pinault denies those statements. “At every possible opportunity he has participated in my family life whether in France or the United States. He is totally integrated within my family,” he says of Augustin.
