A teacher from the Veterans Memorial Academy in Texas has been removed after she was filmed in a bizarre rant. In the hidden video, she claimed to be Mary Magdalene, said she was pregnant with God’s child, and predicted the upcoming apocalypse.

“I am married to God, and I don’t know what’s going to happen to my husband that’s here (on earth),” 42-year-old Imelda Paredes said. “One of my eyes is mine and the other one belongs to God, so God is watching what you all are doing.”

“I haven’t seen him (Jesus), but he talks to me every day,” Paredes also added in Spanish. “He calls me, and he just recently promised me that he’s coming soon for me and for the good people to take us to the heavens, where I’ll have his baby. I have my husband here, but I don’t know what’s going to happen to him. My husband is Jesus Christ, and he is the one I want to marry.”

The teacher also claimed God’s army would end the world as we know it on December 21, 2012. She added that Jesus had another world ready for everyone where they will all be perpetually 25-years-old.

During the incident, some students had alerted their parents and school officials. And at the end of the video, Paredes was escorted out of the room by another teacher.

The school explained that the incident was a medical emergency and issued a statement:

An incident involving a San Benito Veterans Memorial Academy teacher remains under review by campus and district officials. Students in the classroom alerted other school personnel who responded by escorting the teacher out of the classroom during the recent incident. San Benito CISD wants to assure the parents that a replacement teacher has been assigned to fulfill the classroom duties of the teacher in question and will remain there for the remainder of the school year. The issue in question is considered a personnel matter, therefore, the district is not at liberty to disclose any additional information or divulge specific details about the district’s specific course of action.
