19-year-old Hillary Husband is an amazing dancer. In fact, she’s so amazing that you couldn’t have imagined that she recently survived a 5-year fight against cancer. Now, the teen received her lifelong dream to dance onstage as an Honorary Rockette at Radio City Music Hall.

Hillary was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia when she was 14. Despite treatments that took a toll on her body, she refused to give up and continued to travel with her dance team.

“I decided that I wasn’t going to let it take any more of my life than it had to,” she recalled.

After two years, she entered remission and graduated high school class valedictorian. Unfortunately, a few months later, she was diagnosed with another cancer, non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

Refusing to let her cancer define her life, she continued to pursue her dream. And now, with the support of the Garden of Dreams Foundation, she was able to fulfill her lifelong dream, becoming an honorary Rockette.

“Just a little taste of my Rockette experience. I can’t even believe it. #honoraryrockette,” Hillary tweeted.
