Thomas Robinson’s little sister is not too excited about Sacramento
Thomas Robinson excitedly embraced his 9-year-old sister and broke down in tears, as soon as it was announced that the Sacramento Kings had picked him fifth overall in the NBA draft.
“I worked hard to get here and to see it all right in front of me, I got emotional,” he said. “It was everything. Everything that I had been holding in came out.”
And for this one player, he definitely had a lot held in. Robinson has had a tough two years. In January 2011, his mother (who was a single parent) had died of a heart attack. Within three weeks of her death, Robinson’s grandfather and grandmother also passed away, leaving Robinson completely alone to fend for himself and his younger sister, Jayla.
And so with the big move to Sacramento, Robinson is visibly stoked to start the season. His adorable little sister has other ideas though. Check out her interview below.
